Synopsis
“In the Silence“ is a heartfelt drama about Leah, a strong yet weary Black woman in her 40s, who seeks refuge from a storm-ravaged Houston by retreating to an ashram. There, she reconnects with herself through the calming influence of nature and the nurturing presence of Aja, an elderly mentor. As Leah navigates life without the distractions of modern technology, she embarks on a journey of self-discovery, healing old wounds, and finding inner peace.
